      Description

      The roo-deploy.sh script looks for the text "<gpg.passphrase>" in the user's personal Maven settings file (~/.m2/settings.xml). If found, it extracts the passphrase using this command:

      PASSPHRASE=`grep "<gpg.passphrase>" ~/.m2/settings.xml | sed 's/<gpg.passphrase>//' | sed 's/<\/gpg.passphrase>//' | sed 's/ //'`

      This fails if either:

      • The passphrase contains any spaces (because the last call to sed strips them out), or
      • The gpg.passphrase element is indented using tabs instead of spaces (because none of the above calls to sed strip out tabs).
