      Description

As tweaking Spring Security is a very time-consuming milestone, it would be great if Roo - Spring Security addon could create all the items usually needed or possible in Spring Security:

      • database table generation
      • automatic scaffolding for users and roles
      • signup forms
      • confirmation forms and/or with an email confirmation
      • remember me on login page
      • hash | salt passwords
      • ...

I have made a comment to another issue (ROO-1759) and proposed a "manual" fix of the issue. But i don't know how to make addons (I have started to use Roo last week)

Roo, Spring security and (Smart) GWT are a complex mix and it appears to be hard to get right. I'd love to see a Roo addon to help.

Anyone interested in these features might also like to know about the third-party addon described in this forum thread:

not sure if this should be seperate, but a sign-in with Facebook or Twitter like in the Spring Social Showcase would be GREAT. Also flixible for adding additional Spring Social Templates to the configuration for more options.
