      Description

I am using spring security namespace and using <jdbc-user-service> bean.
Looking at documentation of JdbcDaoImpl class, it gets authorities from groups table only if "enableGroups" is set to TRUE.
      By default, it's false.

Workaround is, to directly use 'JdbcDaoImpl' bean as user-service bean.

I'd recommend you just declare the bean. There isn't really any benefit to be gained by using the namespace element and there's not much point in exposing the equivalent configuration in the namespace. It's really just an extra layer of obfuscation.
