      Description

Although the API binding and connection abstractions remove the need for applications to deal directly with an access token for most uses, there are times when it would be helpful for an application to be able to obtain an access token directly.

One such case is when an application needs to share that access token with a JS or native mobile client so that that client doesn't need to take the user through a separate authorization flow to get their own token.

Therefore, Spring Social should offer a way, either through the connection or through the API binding, to get the access token.

Per my response in the referenced forum thread, the access token can be obtained through the Connection. And I'm not inclined to expose the access token through the API binding.
