      Description

I'm seeing an TypeMismatchException exception in TypeConversionUtils.cs at line 147 though it is not bubbled up to my code unless I trap it via the debugger. The code has a throw statement for this but no explanation for why it is doing so.

Exceptions are expensive and throwing them but hiding the reasons from the programmer is bad practice since it makes injecting by Spring slower without apparent reason.
