I've got a root Gradle project along with several subprojects. The root Gradle project configures the common elements of the subproject (with the Java, Eclipse, and other plugins) The root Gradle project exists to coordinate the build and provide Checkstyle targets only, so it does not include the Java plugin.
As a result, executing "gradle tasks" from the root project gives me an extensive list of tasks that I can execute, including "gradle test", which executes the unit tests in all the subprojects, which is exactly what I want to have happen. However, when looking at the Gradle View for the root project from within Eclipse, the "test" target does not show up at all. Worse, there appears to be no way I can invoke this target from Eclipse, as there seems to be no way to enter arbitrary task names in the Gradle run configurations dialog.
