      Description

      we are accessing our git remote repositories by HTTPS.

      On synchronizing or pushing with/to the git repository the login dialog for git credentials always opens - which is really annoying.

      I thinks this is related to https://bugs.eclipse.org/bugs/show_bug.cgi?id=431209.

      Hopefully the next maintenance release of STS can provide a fix.
