      Description

I made fresh installation of springsource-tool-suite-2.1.0.SR01-e3.5-win32-installer.exe and found what there is no XSL tools and XPath tool (if I open XML prespective). There was no problem with version 2.1.0.RC1 (eclipse 3.5 based).

If I open Plug-in Dependencies view and focus on "org.eclipse.wst.xsl.core" - I can see what there is problem with "org.apache.xalan" bundle. This bundle is absent in "plugins" folder, but if I put this bundle from RC1 it did not solve problem.

Thanks for reporting this issue. This problems occurs as there is a problem with pack200 processing of the xalan jar. This has been fixed in the package build and will be available of the next release.

To work-around this issue please copy the attached xalan jar into your plugins directory and start STS from the command line with:

        STSc.exe -clean

Please use the -clean option only once.

Let me know if that solves the problem for you.

Bizarrely (possibly for the same reason why STS keeps asking me if I want to enable the weaving service), the workaround didn't work for me, so I checked what was listed after the -clean, and the plugin didn't seem to have been found, so I added the following line to bundles.info:
        org.apache.xalan,2.7.1.v200905122109,plugins/org.apache.xalan_2.7.1.v200905122109.jar,4,false
