      Description

      After a clean install from the installer, I am unable to launch STS. The splash screen appears, then is replaced with a dialog saying an error occurred. The full log is attached.

        Scott, this is a know issue that I fixed already. Essentially the Java 6 pack200 produces Java 5 incompatible jars. That is why you end up with tons of 0 byte jars in your plugins folder.

        Please re-download from http://dist.springsource.com/release/STS/2.3.0/dist/e3.5/springsource-tool-suite-2.3.0.RELEASE-e3.5.1-macosx-carbon-installer.dmg (please use this url and not the one from the download page as Amazon CloudFront needs to refresh the file first).
