Error when removing HDFS files in shell

      Description

      I get this:

      xd:>hadoop fs rm /xd/test/time-3.log
Error: run HDFS shell failed. Message is: org.apache.hadoop.fs.FileStatus.isDirectory()Z

      so far I have seen this with --hadoopDistro hdp13 and hadoop12

      same command works fine using shell from M5 release
