In my use of SpringPlainTextPasswordValidationCallbackHandler, I discovered that handleUsernameTokenUnknown() does not chain AuthenticationException to the propagated WSSecurityException. This caused me lots of trouble trying to determine the reason of some unexpected authentication failures. Can this handler (and other handlers) please set the root cause?

Fixed. I only found one location - the one you indicated - where the root exception was not set. Please let me know if you find others.
